High Oaks

The brief was to create large, spacious and well lit spaces, which maximised views of the landscape surrounding the site, whilst also paying particular attention to the fluidity of the internal spaces.

Large planar glass windows and doors which could open out to the southerly terraces create a sense of merging the inside with the outdoor spaces, whilst deep overhanging roofs and balconies help to create relief and provide shading to windows beneath.

With its strong horizontal lines, pure white rendered planes, large glazed openings, limited material pallet and its ‘minimalist’ approach to fenestration and detailing, High Oaks embraces a modern and timeless architectural style which takes advantage of it’s beautiful setting.
