Clifton Reynes

A competition design where the client provided a feasibility fee to each architect for their design scheme.

The brief was to utilise the property next to the client’s home and design a large scale garage/showroom for their cars. A glass link was also incorporated to make these two properties one; while minimising building disruption therefore allowing this property to become separated in the future for sales value.

Inspiration was taken from Italian architecture and motor design, collaborated with the style of English barns. Focus was also given to the landscaping of these grounds to tie these two properties together and provide an enjoyable functional space for the client and his car collection.
