Bedford Broadway
The design of a new accommodation block in the heart of Bedford Town Centre. Key to the design was the regeneration of the street scene, achieved by the buildings fronting onto the Broadway. The buildings fronting the Broadway take the form of a curve, following the line of the street, and these linked buildings rise and fall to re-create the rhythm of the surroundings and help to animate the street scene.
